Mayor Reiman Presents Carteret’s Annual Fall Festival and Halloween Parade

Carteret, NJ – Mayor Daniel J. Reiman and the Carteret Borough Council are proud to present the annual Carteret Fall Festival and Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 26th at Carteret Park. The Fall Festival is a long-standing tradition in Carteret, which has been held throughout Mayor Reiman’s Administration.

“We are proud to offer family-friendly events and festivals throughout the year,” said Mayor Reiman. “Fall Fest features free family activities which are traditional for the Autumn season. We are also proud to host our Annual Carteret Holiday festival in December, the Carteret Independence Day Festival in July, Latin Fest in July, and our traditional Ethnic Day Festival in August. Carteret is truly a destination for families year-round. ”

The Festival, which runs from 12 noon until 3 pm, will feature pumpkin picking, face painting, a bounce house, cider, cookies, candy, hot pretzels, bratwurst, guess the weight of the giant pumpkin, Recording Artist and Carteret native Cony, Rolling Stones Tribute Band Moonlight Mile, and the annual Children’s Halloween Parade. All interested participants should note that the Parade lineup begins at 11 am. The parade marches down Louis Street, Cypress Street, and Carteret Avenue.

Mayor Reiman and the Borough are also offering a Halloween House Decorating Contest. All interested participants should take a picture of their decorated home and email it in to Events@carteret.net – including name, address, and telephone number. The winner will be announced November 1st.
