Carteret, NJ – Mayor Daniel J. Reiman and Councilman Vinnie Bellino have announced Carteret’s Fall Festival and Parade on Saturday October 29th from 11AM to 4pm.
The Fall Festival will run from 12 noon to 4PM on Washington Avenue between Pershing Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue. The festival will feature a parade float, moon-bounce, face-painting, pumpkin-picking, Moonlight Mile (a Rolling Stones Tribute Band) and a live DJ. Food and beverage vendors will include an autumn themed Octoberfest beer garden having seasonal domestic & imported beers, Bratwurst and hot pretzels. The Halloween parade will line up at 11 AM on Cypress Street on the eastern side of Carteret Park and will travel down Washington Avenue to the Fall Festival.
Monday evening the Carteret PBA will host its annual Rag-a-Muffin event at 6 PM at Carteret Park at Sullivan Field which will include a costume contest, a boys & girls bike raffle and they give out free candy.
