Carteret, NJ – Mayor Dan Reiman along with the Carteret Business Partnership (CBP) and the Borough Council announced that the 2016 Latin Fest to be held at Veterans Pier & Waterfront Park, Carteret, on Saturday, July 23rd from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
The 2016 festival will have performances by Victor Quezada, a Latin jazz band, and salsa bands Swing Combo and Son9. Christina Pierdra, a master instructor, will be performing and instructing Salsa dances. In addition to the performances, the festival will have a DJ, crafters, food vendors, a beer/sangria garden and fireworks display.
“Carteret’s Latin Fest draws thousands of spectators from Carteret and the surrounding communities,” said Reiman. “This event’s popularity is a testament to the multi-cultural community that Carteret is.”
