Mayor Reiman announces 2013 Kelly Miller Circus

Carteret, NJ – Civic Center Park will come alive this weekend with the sights and sounds of Kelly Miller’s Circus, as it returns to Carteret for its second charity performance series. The venue will offer fun-filled shows to residents of all ages beginning this Friday, with several show times on both Friday and Saturday. Proceeds will benefit the Mayor’s Charity Trust Fund and the residents of Carteret, according to Mayor Dan Reiman.

“For the second year in a row, Kelly Miller’s Circus will provide wholesome entertainment to Carteret’s residents and visitors with this exciting and nationally renowned performance”, Mayor Reiman said. “Kelly Miller’s Circus offers a great, fun atmosphere to families who once again can look forward to the opening ceremony, and the famous raising of the big top by the performing elephants”.

Kelly Miller’s Circus has been performing since 1938, and features several exciting events, including the raising of the big tent which is performed by elephants which pull the tent up into place.  Kelly Miller’s Circus is once again being sponsored by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman’s Charity Trust Fund, and will offer shows on Friday June 14th at 4:30 and 7:30pm, and again on Saturday, June 15th at 2:00pm, 5:00pm, and 7:30pm.

The Circus will be located at Civic Center Park, on Pershing Avenue next to the Memorial Municipal Building, and the Community Center and Public Library.  Tickets are available now at the Mayor’s Office at 61 Cooke Avenue, the Municipal Annex at 20 Cooke Avenue, as well as the Carteret Library at 100 Cooke Avenue.
